MaryAnn Czelusniak AKA MaryAnn Linney AKA Patricia McIntyre has become yet another foot soldier in Rosa and Anthony Fond’s ever-expanding rescue army, routinely deployed to attack anyone who dares question their conduct.
She is Humans and Animals United’s “paid transporter,” entrusted with driving dogs thousands of miles to their new homes, yet the level of oversight and care expected of anyone in that position is often nowhere to be found. She routinely arrives at destinations without performing even the most basic home checks, ignoring red flags in the living conditions she encounters.
Like so many of Rosa’s fiercely loyal followers, MaryAnn seems to operate not from compassion for the dogs, but from allegiance to Rosa herself – defending her with venom and lies no matter the cost. In doing so, MaryAnn has become both a willing participant in the neglect of the dogs Rosa Fond “rescues” and a loud voice in the chorus of cruelty that Humans and Animals United uses to silence critics and protect their carefully crafted façade.
MaryAnn is HAUS’s “private transporter,” hauling dogs clear across the country—Florida to Upstate New York, Chicago, and every forgotten town in between—as if distance alone could wash the rescue’s hands of responsibility. The farther away the dog ends up, the better it seems to suit them.
It was MaryAnn who took Oreo, driving him over 2,000 miles from Miami to a remote corner of Upstate New York, only to abandon him with a stage-four cancer patient who had no fenced yard, no means to care for him properly, and no idea what she was walking into. She didn’t even bother to step outside to check the property—she didn’t leave a collar, a leash, or even a single scoop of dog food. She simply dropped him off and drove away, mission accomplished. But her role as a driver is only half the story.
Maryann also serves as one of HAUS’s most aggressive enforcers—a loyal henchwoman ready to defend her “beloved leader,” Rosa Fond, at any cost. She doesn’t just follow orders; she wages war on anyone who dares to speak the truth. From fake accounts to venomous comments, Maryann has made a sport of slandering the rescue’s critics, weaving lie after lie in a desperate attempt to silence anyone who threatens to expose the truth.
Posts like this one are her specialty – the more vile the better:
Maryann’s pattern of behavior and looking the other way is not only reckless but emblematic of a broader problem within this rescue. When those entrusted with vulnerable animals operate without accountability, the animals pay the price.
