Money Making DOGS

Total Pledge Amount $9,585.00 PLUS private donations PLUS donors covering all medical and transportation costs

Addie is a prime example of how Humans And Animals United exploits helpless dogs and humans with their over-the-top pleas for donations, shamelessly tugging at the heart and purse strings of caring people, many of whom donate their last few dollars to this criminal enterprise thinking it will go towards saving the dog’s life.

Comments like these are all too common:

Many of their followers and others who see their posts are elderly and on fixed incomes yet Humans and Animals United is all too willing to take money from people who are clearly struggling – all to line their own pockets with.

Because of the highly emotional pleas they put out across social media that get shared collectively tens of thousands of times each, HAAU generates FIVE FIGURES for each and every dog they “rescue”. Dogs like Addie are the biggest money makers because they tug at people’s heartstings the most and require little in vetting as they are near the end of their life.

Sweet Addie was pulled by HAAU from Rockdale County Animal Control in Georgia on September 11, 2024 after they were able to amass over $10K in pledges/donations across their numerous Fake Facebook pages and “networking” pages.

The exact amount this operation took in is unclear as the public has no way of knowing how many people donate directly to this rescue via their website or by directly sending money to one of their payment processors without pledging, however, it is believed that the actual amount they collect for each dog is far greater than the total of all pledges posted.

Like this person above, many people comment that they have either sent in a check or made a direct donation. Addie was a nice windfall for the Fonds and virtually PURE PROFIT as she required minimal vetting and at age 17, most likely will not require much going forward as she is being treated as a hospice case. At her advanced age combined with this rescue’s history of doing the bare minimum for the dogs they “rescue”, it is highly unlikely that Humans And Animals United will be spending any money on her future care.
All dogs this enterprise “rescues” yield big profits with the average payday in upwards of $10K. It’s common for rescues to take in donations in excess of what was needed for a particular dog. The good ones use the excess on helping other dogs but NOT Humans and Animals United. You will never see them pull a dog without a large amount of pledges. You will never see them pitch in and help a shelter in times of crisis such as the recent fire nearby Rockdale Animal Control or even in their own back yard of Brooksville, Florida. They simply do nothing for any dog or person unless there’s a big payday for them. FACT.
Sadly, there are many dogs like Addie this rescue has made large amounts of money off of. In fact, advocates who have kept track of all dogs pulled by this rescue report that pledge amounts for every dog average around $10K with many dogs generating in excess of $12K. There doesn’t seem to be a dog anyone can find that this rescue has helped without a huge financial incentive.

This video made by a concerned advocate who dilligently researched this rescue sums it up.

To date, we have no idea where Addie is and if she is in fact still alive. There have been many reports of this rescue pulling very old and very sick dogs because they bring in large amounts of pledges/donations and then having them euthanized claiming they were simply “too sick”. In the absence of any real proof that dogs like Addie are alive and well, people are left to draw their own conclusions. That, coupled with the verifiable accounts of their dogs meeting terrible fates makes these allegations all too believable.

So where is Addie today, in 2025 – just a year after she was “rescued” by Humans and Animals United? We hope she is alive and doing well, however, it would be difficult to believe anything this rescue would say without hard proof.
