Stephanie Zorn Lopez’s pattern of posting vile and malicious lies about concerned animal advocates in order to deflect from her rescue’s horrific behavior is condoned and encouraged by the rescue’s founder Rosa Fond. Those familiar with Stephanie describe her as a devoted pawn in Rosa Fond’s web of manipulation — someone who mistakes blind loyalty for moral duty. She is believed to be on disability, a detail that mirrors a familiar pattern among many of Rosa Fond’s most loyal followers who seem to depend on her for direction and validation. In return, they defend her at all costs, spreading lies and venom in her name. Stephanie’s willingness to act as Rosa’s attack dog perfectly illustrates the toxic culture of this rescue, where bullying replaces accountability, and deceit takes precedence over compassion for the animals they claim to protect.

Such language. By all accounts, Stephanie is an easily led follower, to the degree of being “cult like” and blindly believes everything Rosa Fond tells her. Stephanie was recently homeless and living in her car but phone in hand, still had the ability to post libelous content about her rescue’s critics and all the time in the world to do so.
It appears that Stephanie is tasked with the responsibility of telling donors concerned over the massive amount of money this rescue takes in for every dog they “rescue” that “every penny is spent on the dogs” and that everyone who has anything negative to say about Rosa Fond and her Rescue are “jealous”, “all criminals” and “scammers”.
Interestingly enough Stephanie’s daughter sits on the HAAU board yet she ignores that liability as she dutifully executes the most vile and atrocious libel about Humans and Animals United’s critics.
Stephanie, just like the others, has no known employment. She often claims she was a victim of violence and has PTSD. While, if true – is a sad and very unfortunate circumstance no woman should ever have to find herself in. Given her background, it makes the disgusting falsehoods and attacks she launches towads others very hypocritical.
