Not Humans and Animals United. They have numerous pages that were created for one thing and one thing only – to cast a very wide net in order to deceive people into donating. Each page is meant to fool the public into thinking it’s the ONLY page asking for money when in fact, this “rescue” has dozens of pages on social media including Linkedin, X, Instagram, Reddit and Tiktok. It’s a scheme that allows them to generate thousands upon thousands for each dog they decide to “rescue” with the average windfall of $10K-12K PER DOG while keeping the public at large in the dark.

Many of HAAU’s pages are intended to deceive. They are fraudulently giving people the impression that the pages are genuine and NOT associated with the rescue when in fact, they are actual creations of Rosa Fond and her “Paid Volunteers” – Barbara Ranberg Smith AKA Barbara Queenbee and some suspect Anthony Fond as well.

Think of a rescue that you admire – one that you know is doing great things for dogs and operates with transaprency and decency. How many Facebook pages does this rescue have? Odds are, they have one page and one page only

Rescue Me Miami Animal Shelter

This page is one of Humans and Animals United’s most visited and profitable pages. It is particularly deceptive because people are led to believe it is associated with the Miami Shelter. It brings in big pledges and donations and routinely misleads the public into thinking it is a “Networking Page” that all rescues are welcomed to use, however, the only rescue you will see asking for pledges and then instructing people to honor them is Humans and Animals United.

Urgent Shelter Dogs

Another page that was created by Humans and Animals United to promote their target dogs and generate pledges/donations. This page is a big money maker and brings in thousands routinely for the dogs that this rescue promotes. The public has no idea that this page is affiliated with HAAU which is precisely how this rescue wants it.

Anabel Anderson

This page is well known by many to be Rosa Fond’s page that she uses to deceive people into thinking it is someone else who happens to be a supporter of HAAU. This page is used by Rosa to solicit pledges/donations for the dogs her “rescue” promotes to the public.

Adopt me Florida

Yet another page owned and operated by Humans and Animals United/Rosa Fond. Notice how it states “This is their last hope”? People are fooled into thinking this is actually true and as with all other pages, emotionally manipulated into donating to this resuce thinking they are truly the dog’s only hope.

In addition to using these pages to solicit pledges for their target dogs, they also use them to post incredibly libelous posts about people they want to discredit – people who have been vocal about their operation. They craft a false and malicious narrative of anyone who has attempted to raise pulic awareness about their operation. Ask yourself this – what decent person/rescue would engage in this type of maliciously fueled propaganda? What rescue who is doing everything on the up and up dare put out these types of vindictively crafted false narratives about their critics?
